And it looks like she's set to prove us right yet again in new BBC1 drama Vigil, by the creators of Bodyguard and Line of Duty, launching this Sunday.
Jones has come a long way since her four-year stint on Coronation Street, and now we want to know which of her many roles is her favourite.
