BBC viewers have shared their thoughts on new political drama Roadkill - and are startled at how apparently "realistic" it is.
Starring Hugh Laurie and Helen McRory as high-flying politicians desperately skirting scandal, Roadkill has viewers drawing comparisons to the UK climate.
And they reckon it's absolutely spot-on as Hugh depicts a crooked minister who finds himself scraping a win in a libel trial against a journalist.
But, as Helen's Prime Minister keeps saying, he likely has other skeletons in his closet.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Fictional drama about a dodgy MP with lots of secrets - and the fictional part...?? #Roadkill."
Another tweeted: "I'm seeing too many similarities to real politicians."
A third joked: "Already, #Roadkill @BBCOne with Hugh Laurie looks promising. We do love dramas about scummy politicians... wonder why?"
A fourth remarked: "Might've been a good idea to have aired #Roadkill next year, we have our fair share of real tragic politicians right now!"
Other fans have been heaping praise on Hugh and Helen for turning stirling performances.

A third observed: "Hugh Laurie's one of those performers who has that thing where he can hold your attention regardless of what he's doing."
"Helen McCrory is amazing! #Roadkill," a fourth reviewed.
The BBC writes of the drama: "Peter Laurence is a charismatic government minister on the verge of promotion to high office. He is also celebrating a win in a newspaper libel case.
"But an inmate at a women's prison claims to have a secret about Peter's past that could affect his future."
The series will feature four episodes, across four weeks.
