BBC One viewers have been treated to an elaborate and star-studded concert at Windsor Castle to celebrate the Coronation, with the likes of Katy Perry, Take That, Lionel Richie and Andrea Bocelli taking to the stage.
However, just minutes into the concert, viewers took to Twitter to complain about the coverage.
Taking to Twitter to slam the long-awaited royal concert, eagle-eyed TV fans voiced their annoyance over how long the commentary was taking as they questioned on when the actual music performances will begin.
"For the love of god, when is the show going to start!!!! Enough with all the talking," one complained.
"I'm already falling asleep. Give me Katy Perry not fiddle players. I do not care," another voiced.
"Ugh already DONE with the Coronation concert.... when is the show going to start," someone else echoed.
While a fourth complained: "Time wasting is something I didn't forsee for tonight. GIVE ME TAKE THAT."
"What is this s**i. I thought it was a concert not a bloody chit-chat," another fumed.
Tonight, the Coronation Choir - a group comprised of the nation's community choirs and amateur singers from across the UK - will also make an appearance alongside The Virtual Choir, which is made up of singers from across the Commonwealth.
Notting Hill star Hugh Bonneville is hosting the concert, and the show will also feature pre-recorded video sketches from Top Gun star Tom Cruise, Dynasty actress Dame Joan Collins, Bear Grylls and Sir Tom Jones, who will recite a number of facts about the monarch.
However, preparations for tonight's concert have not been without numerous hiccups along the way.
Not least, a number of major A-Listers turning down the opportunity to perform, be it due to conflicting schedules or their republican stance.
Unfortunately, there have also been a few last minute changes to the schedule due to dropouts over the last few days.
Singer Freya Ridings has been forced to pull out due to sickness, while Zoe Ball announced just hours before the concert began this evening that she would not be taking part.
The Radio 2 DJ said that she was "absolutely gutted" to be unable to attend, saying: "The sickness bug has got me."
However, it's undeniable that all eyes will be on Dark Horse songstress Katy Perry tonight after her awkward tumble and struggle to find her seat at the Coronation went viral on Saturday.
Clad in a lavender Vivienne Westwood ensemble and flamboyant headpiece, she left fans in stitches as she looked around in confusion in Westminster Abbey.
Yet Katy effortlessly brushed off any embarrassment with a witty response on Twitter.
