Antiques Roadshow viewers were taken aback as the show was taken off air.
The popular BBC show was scheduled to be broadcast in its usual slot tonight at 8pm. Fiona Bruce was to return as host and present the show from Portchester Castle.
However, fans on Twitter were furious after a last minute schedule shake up saw tonight's episode cancelled. The schedule was altered due to BBC's coverage of the FA Cup semi-final between Manchester United and Brighton.

The match was a stalemate and went into extra time as it finished 0-0. The tie was eventually decided on penalties as Manchester United triumphed 7 - 6 in the shootout.
This sparked an alteration to the schedule as Our Changing Planet was broadcast at 8pm instead of its scheduled 7pm slot. Antiques Roadshow was cancelled as Great Expectations will air after Our Changing Planet finishes at 9pm.
Viewers expecting to follow the show on Twitter were frustrated that they couldn't get their weekly Antique's Roadshow fix.
Katie said: "Fuming no #Antiquesroadshow @BBC shambles yet again."
Douglas added: "BBC not airing #AntiquesRoadshow because football overran. I take this as a personal attack.
Shirley commented: "One programme I like on the BBC and its cancelled . Not happy!"
