The BBC has confirmed its huge programming schedule for Glastonbury 2023 across its television, radio and podcast output. If you missed out on a ticket this year, you're in luck, as there is about to be more coverage than ever before this year.
Glastonbury has revealed its full line-up with a huge programme of artists and acts from June 21-25, 2023. You can get a slice of the action if you're watching for home through the BBC or catch a set you might have missed over the weekend due to clashes.
New podcasts, collections and playlists will be available on BBC Sounds and BBC iPlayer will present an expanded, 12-day celebration of the festival, featuring over 40 hours of coverage on BBC iPlayer’s Glastonbury Channel. The coverage aims to be more accessible than ever before.

Lorna Clarke, BBC Director of Music said: "This year we’re proud to deliver over 40 hours of coverage across our TV channels to our audiences, as well as over 85 hours of live radio broadcasts, in addition to content on BBC Sounds. We’ll also be increasing the scale and accessibility of our BBC iPlayer offer, with even more themed and live streams.
"For the first time, we will be streaming Pyramid Stage performances live in British Sign Language, making our coverage more accessible than ever before. Our thanks once again go to Emily and Michael Eavis, for allowing us to bring their treasured festival to so many music fans throughout the weekend and beyond.”
As well as interpreting the Pyramid Stage performances, new additions to BBC iPlayer for 2023 include a soundtracked live stream of the festival site webcam (from June 19 to 25) and performances from past years. The BBC will also continue to be Glastonbury Festival's exclusive, multimedia broadcast partner, following a recent multi-year extension.

I think we've created something really special together and we’re delighted that they're continuing to evolve their coverage with additions such as streaming Pyramid Stage performances live in British Sign Language."
BBC Sounds will be hosting a new podcast by Clara Amfo, Jack Saunders and Jo Whiley called 'Glastonbury Top 10', reflecting on their top moments from the festival over the years. There will also be a newly re-versioned and revamped edition of 'Glastonbury: 50 Years and Counting', Francis Whately’s social and musical history of the festival with additional footage from Glastonbury 2022.
Here's a look at all of the new programmes:
- Pyramid Stage - Signed – for the first time, performances on the Pyramid Stage will be streamed live in British Sign Language - June 23-25 (BBC iPlayer).
- Glasto-Cam Live – the BBC’s famous Glastonbury webcam launches as a soundtracked live stream from June 19-25, 4.30am-10pm (BBC iPlayer).
- Glastonbury’s Greatest Hits – back-to-back iconic performances from past festivals, streamed 24 hours a day from Monday 19th June – Sunday 25th June (BBC iPlayer).
- Glastonbury Top 10 – Clara Amfo, Jack Saunders and Jo Whiley rank all-time classic Glastonbury moments in this new podcast (BBC Sounds).
- Back to Back Sounds: Glastonbury – an on-demand collection of the best of this year’s audio coverage and Glastonbury editions of BBC programmes such as 6 Music’s Morning After Mix and 1Xtra Throwbacks (BBC Sounds).
- Glastonbury Daily Playlist – a collection of live tracks performed by artists on the previous day available on Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th and Monday 26th June (BBC Sounds).
- We Love Glastonbury (w/t, 1x60, BBC Two) – a new documentary for BBC Two in which musicians and Glastonbury fans including Jake Shears, Jessie Ware, Nish Kumar, Noel Gallagher, Sharleen Spiteri and more recount stories and highlights from the festival over the years.
- Glastonbury Anthems (w/t, 3x30, BBC Two) – a new series of three programmes which will take viewers through classic tracks performed at Glastonbury over the years.
- Glastonbury: 50 Years and Counting (1x90, BBC Two) – a newly re-versioned and revamped edition of Francis Whately’s social and musical history of the festival, with additional footage from Glastonbury 2022.
- BBC Music Introducing stage takeovers – BBC pop radio networks take over the BBC Music Introducing stage for the night on Thursday (Radio 1 Dance), Friday (6 Music), Saturday (1Xtra) and Sunday (Asian Network), featuring DJ sets from some of the networks’ favourite artists. Highlights will be broadcast on-air and on BBC Sounds.
The full TV schedule from Saturday, June 17 to 23 will be announced on Wednesday (June 7) and full TV schedules from Saturday, June 24 - Friday, June 30 will be confirmed on Wednesday, June 14.
