BBC The Greatest Dancer Liverpool teen Harrison stuns Cheryl and audiences

A Liverpool teenager stunned audiences and celebrity judges on The Greatest Dancer tonight.

Harrison performed in the the first live show of the series in front of his coach Matthew Morrison from Glee and judges Oti Mabuse, Todrick Hall and Cheryl Tweedy.

The Dance talent show sees dancers of any age and dance style compete to win £50,000 and a chance to perform on Strictly Come Dancing.

While all four judges were blown away by the 17-year-olds dancing ability, Cheryl said she would give him the crown straight away.

Hailing Harrison's performance as a 'piece of art', she said: "You are not only a brilliant technical performer and dancer, you're an actor.

"You set the tone of your character, you let us know who you are before you do your tricks and your flips, and that takes art.

"You're everything and if it was up to me I would crown you king performer right now."

The 17-year-old performed a contemporary dance to the song Somebody's Watching Me and achieved an audience got a score of 94.2%.

It seems viewers at home were blown away by Harrison too, @suerowleytweets said: " Amazing he’s my favourite just crown him the #GreatestDancer now"

@matti_colley tweeted: " Harrison definitely has an extraordinary talent for dance and for bringing drama into a performance."

While @marcouk73 said: " Wow what an amazing talent Harrison is, fantastic performer and actor."

The Greatest Dancer was on BBC one tonight, Saturday, February 1 at 6.30pm
