BBC Strictly fans disappointed by live tour announcement as Fleur East and Helen Skelton sign up

Strictly Come Dancing fans were gutted when the 2022 series came to an end last weekend.

The season finale aired on Saturday night as the final four couples danced their hearts out in a bid to take home the Glitterball trophy.

Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez, Fleur East and Vito Coppola, Hamza Yassin and Jowita Prytzal and Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu danced three routines each, putting on a super finale show. But it was Hamza and Jowita who scooped the title and took home the crown.

Fans were sad to have a Strictly void in their lives but the silver cloud to wash away the Strictly blues was they still had the Live tour to look forward to.

There was an announcement made about the tour which revealed that finalists Helen Skelton and Fleur East will also be joining the tour.

Already confirmed had been Molly and Carlos Strictly 2022 winners Hamza and Jowita, Will Mellor and Nancy Xu, Ellie Simmonds and Nikita Kuzmin, and Tyler West and Dianne Buswell on the tour

Judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke will also take part in the tour and Janette Manrara will host. But as Helen and Fleur's addition to the line-up was announced, fans were left disappointed as Helen had a change in partner.

Countryfile presenter Helen won't be dancing with Gorka but will now be paired with Kai Widdrington, who was first to leave the 2022 competition with his partner Kaye Adams.

Fans also noted that the couples will be joined on tour by professional dancers Amy Dowden, Neil Jones, Robbie Kmetoni, Jake Leigh, Luba Mushtuk and Michelle Tsiakkas.

And some noticed that there were some popular faces missing from the line-up, including Gorka, Giovanni Pernice and Johannes Radebe.

One wrote: "No Giovanni or Gorka...whats the point !!!!!!both best two male dancers without those two guys not worth going."

Another added: "Can’t believe Johannes isn’t doing the tour this time."

One said: "So gutted there's no Johannes and Ellie." @kerry_turner78 asked: " Why isn’t @johannesradebe on the tour?"

However, other fans were buzzing for the tour and loved the line-up.

One commented: "This I have gotta see, all my favourites. Let's hope Helen does just as well without gorka." Another penned: What a great lineup!"

Finally, one said: "Can’t wait - fantastic to get the final 4 couples in there. It’s going to be another wonderful tour."
