BBC Strictly Come Dancing wardrobe choice for pros has fans laughing

It was all eyes on the Strictly Come Dancing pros as the BBC show kicked off for the results show. However, it wasn't the moves that fans were watching but the outfits - and they left viewers laughing.

The professional dancers took to the dancefloor to a medley of Need You Tonight by INXS and About Damn Time by Lizzo blasted out. The dancers, wearing red latex costumes, including elbow-length gloves, sashayed out to the beat, leaving many Strictly fans scratching their heads with others quick to comment on their 'housework inspired' costume choices.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “Nice to see the Strictly lads wearing gloves for the washing up after they've finished their dance.” Another joked: “Them lads on their way to unblock some drains in them gloves,” as another added: “I hope they’re going to go back and finish that washing-up that they’ve clearly abandoned part way through.”

The comments flooding in, according to the Mirror, continuing: “The Strictly boys have their washing up gloves on I see. Got a sink full here that won’t fit in the dishwasher." Someone else added: “The Strictly lads in full arm magenta latex gloves, here for it". While another asked: “Are the lads about to do the washing up?”

It's the 20th series of Strictly Come Dancing with the latest instalment marking the second week of live shows on a Saturday evening. Hosted by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, the 15 Strictly couples face judges include Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke.

Strictly Come Dancing returns live at 6:30pm on Saturday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
