BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans have accused AJ and Kai of 'cheating' in last night's dance-off.
Things got tense on Sunday (December 5) as AJ and Kai battled it out against Dan and Nadiya for a place in the semi-finals - with the BBC Breakfast host leaving.
AJ and Kai had the second lowest score on Saturday (December 4) after fumbling a lift at the end of the dance.
Fans were gutted for the pair as the judges noted it was a fabulous dance - but the ending ruined it, reports YorkshireLive.
Craig Revel Horwood grimaced as he said: "You were totally watchable. Yes, the ending was a complete dance disaster darling but that can be fixed... one day. Well done anyway."
Shirley Ballas praised AJ's "pure sass" and encouraged: "It was on its way to a ten, you are fantastic. It's just unfortunate".
Anton Du Beke added: "The rest of it was terrific.
"I loved it in general but the ending was... 'PLEASE STOP. I CAN'T BEAR IT.'"
And now, some eagle eyed fans think that they spotted the dancing partners make a subtle change when they had to perform again to secure their place in the semi finals.
In Saturday's dance, Kai picked up AJ and she cartwheeled in the lift before he put her down and then AJ put her leg up to Kai and they attempted another lift, which went badly wrong.
On Sunday's dance off, Kai picked up AJ for the cartwheel lift but then AJ danced away and they finished by the stairs, leading some fans to question the dance.
Many fans quickly took to social media to pass comment.
@Tor15an questioned: "Did AJ & Kai change the last lift?? It looked different from last night" whilst another, @vjg46 seemed sure, writing: "AJ changed the lift at the end".
@sarah00029035 thought that it was a subtle way of changing the odds, commenting: "#StrictlyComeDancing on that dance off Dan was much better it wasn’t fair that AJ changed the final lift!"
@unenthusiasticspatula added: "Did anyone else notice that AJ and Kai did a different final lift? She didn't go over his head like she did when they flubbed it!"
@Johnny_B5 seemed equally furious: "AJ cheated on the lift..Judges must of noticed but reasons known to them decided not to notice.. must be on the payroll . Shame on you.."
But plenty of other fans think that it only looked different because AJ managed to successful do the lift.
@strictlynatt fired back: "For everyone saying that Aj and Kai changed the lift. It is the same lift but he didn’t take her hand so she had to put her leg on his shoulder and they had to move on!
"Have a nice sleep when Aj and Kai are in semifinals!"
@popboy84 praised the couple, speaking in their defence: "I am so glad AJ and Kai had a chance to clean up her dance and sort out the last lift mistake as the second dance was absolutely amazing".
