BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans notice important detail about Giovanni's new year message to Rose

Giovanni Pernice's message to his BBC Strictly Come Dancing partner Rose Ayling-Ellis on New Year's Eve prompted fans to speak out.

Viewers are missing seeing the duo who were crowned the 2021 champions on the popular show.

EastEnders star Rose shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram after she and Giovanni were crowned Strictly champions last month.

The actress from Manchester, who was the BBC dance show 's first deaf contestant, said she can't wait to see what 2022 will bring after inspiring others during her time on the dancefloor.

She posted the quote: "Stay afraid, but do it anyway. What's important is the action. You don't have to wait to be confident. Just do it and eventually the confidence will follow."

She added: "That definitely what 2021 did for me, the year of growth, discovery and surprises.

"I cannot wait to see what 2022 would bring."

In response her professional dance partner Giovanni posted a stream of nine hearts.

And fans were quick to point out that he had missed out a heart to complete a perfect Strictly score of 10.

lindamrtam commented: "It’s a ten…"

And mumtant insisted: "She’s not having a 9 absolutely not."

Rose and Giovanni lifted the coveted Glitterball trophy after a close-fought contest with former Bake Off winner John Whaite and his pro dance partner Johannes Radebe who made history as Strictly's first all-male pairing.

Rose said the Italian dancer is her 'best friend for life' after a life-changing four months working together.
