BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans 'in tears' minutes into 2022 debut show

Fans of Strictly Come Dancing were in tears just minutes into the 2022 opening show.

A line-up of 15 new celebrities donned their dancing shoes for a new series of the ballroom show tonight. Singers, soap stars and comedians are among the line-up this year and they'll be looking to wow experts Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood with their new skills.

Tonight's show determined which professional each celeb would be partnered with. But, not before the pros took to the dancefloor to put on a magnificent show and bring the series in with a bang.
