BBC Strictly Come Dancing changes confirmed for semi-finals weekend

BBC's Strictly Come Dancing is drawing to a close and the latest songs and dances have been confirmed.

It's semi-final time, which means. the return of double dances.

The four remaining couples will have to perform not one, but two routines this coming weekend.

It comes after Dan Walker and Nadiya Bychkova's time came for them to say goodbye in last Sunday's quarter final.

The couple performed a dramatic Tango for us on Saturday, scoring 31 and landing in fourth place on the leaderboard.

Once their score was combined with the public vote, the Dance Off called for Dan and Nadiya, along with AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington.

Both pairs performed their routines again and then it was over to the judges to make the final call.

When making her decision, judge Motsi Mabuse said: "Well another strong Dance Off. It’s just an amazing year and to be part of the team I think is absolutely sensational. Dan you did a great job, AJ you did, for me, the better job, and I’m saving AJ and Kai.”

All four judges came to the same decision, sending Dan and Nadiya home from the competition.

Here's what the dancing duos will be bringing to the ballroom on Saturday night (December 11):

AJ and Kai: Rumba to Show Me Heaven by Maria McKee and Quickstep to Sing, Sing, Sing by Benny Goodman

Rose and Giovanni: Argentine Tango to A Evaristo Carriego by Eduardo Rovira and Waltz to How Long Will I Love You by Ellie Goulding

John and Johannes: Jive to Higher Power by Coldplay and Couple's Choice to Hometown Glory by Adele

Rhys and Nancy: Samba to It Had Better Be Tonight (Meglio Stasera) by Michael Bublé and Tango to One Vision by Queen
