BBC Scotland's Kaye Adams to take part in Strictly Come Dancing 2022

TELEVISION and radio presenter Kaye Adams is the fourth celebrity confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing 2022.

The BBC Radio Scotland and Loose Women host announced the news on Friday's show to the delight of fellow her fellow presenters.

Adams said: "I'm absolutely terrified, I can't dance at all - I have two left feet. I could think of a million reasons not to do this, but I wondered - will I get to the end of September and regret it?

"I'm really competitive but in this I'm not. If I enjoy myself, I'll be so happy."

Kaye is a broadcaster best known as an anchor on ITV topical discussion show Loose Women as well as for hosting the morning show on BBC Radio Scotland.

Having started her career as a news journalist she has presented programming for various TV channels including STV, the BBC and Channel 5. She started her podcast, How To Be 60 with Kaye Adams, in 2022. 

She is also a judge on the BBC Scotland series Scotland's Best Dog.

Adams added: "I said I wanted to make the last year of my fifties memorable and i can’t think of a better way of doing it than showing the world my two left feet. Pray for me!”
