BBC salaries show the five Welsh stars who are paid over £150,000

The salaries earned by the BBC's top stars have been revealed.

Stars like Graham Norton, Chris Evans and Gary Lineker are among the top earners. Sports presenter Lineker is still the corporation's top earner overall for the second year in a row with a salary of around £1.75m.

Chris Evans, who left the corporation in December, is still featured in the top 10 list with a salary of £1.25m but will not feature in the list next year.

There are three women among the top 10 earners: Claudia Winkleman, Vanessa Feltz and Zoe Ball.

These are the Welsh people who make more than £150,000 at the BBC.

Huw Edwards

News and TV presenter Huw Edwards is one of few who make a hefty sum.

Perhaps best-known for presenting the ten-o-clock news, he also regularly fronts election coverage and shows on Welsh history.

Salary: £490,000 – £494,999

Jason Mohammad

Jason Mohammad (Colin Bell)

He presents television and radio shows across the BBC.

As well as hosting a daily Radio Wales programme, he's also the face of shows such as Final Score, plays a part in covering the FIFA World Cup and appears on other mainstream football shows.

Salary:  £355,000 - £359,999

John Humphrys

The long standing presenter is best-known for hosting the Today Programme on BBC Radio 4.

Salary: £290,000 - £294,999

Gabby Logan

The sports presenter has covered lots in her career. Her dedication to the sports team has included covering events like the Athletics, FIFA World Cup and Rugby Autumn internationals.

She is the daughter of former Welsh international football coach Terry Yorath

Salary: £290,000 – £294,999

Jeremy Bowen

The Middle East Editor has been on our screens for many years.

He initially reported in the Middle East before being promoted to an editor role, and is a hugely well-respected journalist.

Salary: £215,000 – £219,999
