BBC's Time viewers make early prediction about Sean Bean's character Cobden

BBC's new drama, Time, may have only begun this evening, but a number of viewers have already made the same prediction.

The three-part series starring Sean Bean and Stephen Graham will air weekly on BBC One from Sunday 6 June at 9pm , with the full series available as a boxset on BBC iPlayer once episode one has aired.

Mark Cobden (Sean Bean) is newly imprisoned, consumed by guilt for his crime, and way out of his depth in the volatile world of prison life.

He meets Eric McNally (Stephen Graham), an excellent prison officer doing his best to protect those in his charge.

However, when one of the most dangerous inmates identifies his weakness, Eric faces an impossible choice; between his principles and his family.

Comically known by some as "the two-legged spoiler", Sean Bean is known for a lot of the characters he plays dying.

And it didn't take long for a number of viewers to ask the same question.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "Five minutes in and Sean Bean is crucially still alive"

Another wrote: "So, which episode does Sean Bean die in?"

Another launched a poll asking if Sean would die in this episode, the next, or the final.

A fourth wrote: "Sean Bean doing well so far 20mins and still alive"
