BBC's The Voice continues to croak

Things go from bad to worse for the BBC's much-maligned talent show The Voice. After it was reported that last year's champion, Leanne Mitchell, had sold less than 1,000 albums in the week after it was released, she's now in danger of being dropped by her hard-hearted record label, Universal. Being beamed into millions of homes doesn't seem to have done her any favours as sales continue to struggle. But enough about her minor travails. The real tragedy concerns the judges. According to the Daily Mail, Sir Tom Jones, Jessie J, will.i.am and Danny O'Donoghue have delivered an ultimatum to the show's producers demanding they are all re-employed for the third series, or they will all resign en masse. Now that's some threat. With ratings down to 5 million from a high of 8 million, how can the Beeb dare to let them go?
