BBC's The Apprentice Amy Anzel 'banned' from final show after Lord Sugar's 'hurtful' tweets

The Apprentice final is set to air this week and many fans will be looking forward to seeing Lord Sugar choose his next business partner.

However there are reports that one contestant has been banned from the final celebration after she complained about tweets from Lord Sugar himself.

The 74-year-old tweeted: "Amy didn’t sell she was so slow. Slower than broadband Wi-Fi in Cornwall."

After the BBC boss tweeted the statement to his 5.2 million followers, a friend of Amy's told The Sun: "When Lord Sugar posted his tweets, she thought they were nasty, hurtful and insulting and told them so in an email.

"She knew the final taping was happening last Wednesday but they ignored her phone calls and emails again. Then Amy got an email saying that invitations were issued at their discretion."

Amy, who was fired in week six after Lord Sugar was unimpressed with her avoiding the role of Project Manager, is said to be angry about the editing too with fit being claimed she put herself forward for the role in week two.

After bringing the tweets to the attention of production bosses at Naked TV, who make The Apprentice alongside the BBC, Amy was left "humiliated" after a Zoom call with production, reports the Mirror.
