BBC's One Show viewers angry with David Walliams after guest appearance

David Walliams caused quite a stir after his appearance on the BBC's One Show tonight.

The actor and writer spoke about his new TV show called "Hansel and Gretel After Ever After" - a sequel to Hansel and Gretel. The programme stars Sheridan Smith as the witch and David Walliams as a troll, they made it over lockdown and David said "everyone was in a great mood because they were working".

But as he was being interviewed by Tom Daley, Twitter users noticed David's dog was trying to get some precious 'shut-eye' however David kept patting him and disturbing him and this really upset some viewers.

Another viewer @SlapstickSally said "David Walliams, want to slap his dog any harder? #theoneshow "

Another kept it short and sweet but got their point across, @missiemanda said: " #theoneshow stop patting your dog @davidwalliams."

Some viewers even aired their concerns about The One Show stating that it had gone downhill, for these viewers not even the exciting guests such as David Walliams could make the show bearable.

Twitter user @cb_038 tweets saying: This show is absolute tosh, it’s so random and boring! #TheOneShow

@Sweggers says "Since the great #MattBaker left, the once vibrant #theoneshow has deteriorated into a pile of pigsh*t"
