BBC's nature series Spy In The Wild uses cameras hidden in disguised robots to grant viewers spectacular insights into the animal kingdom

The BBC is set to launch new episodes of its hit nature docu-series, Spy In The Wild, which grants viewers spectacular access and insights into the animal kingdom.

Using 51 disguised robots and hi-tech camera gear, the team have infiltrated the habitats of various animals across the globe to examine their behaviour.

The four-part nature series, which airs on Wednesday, January 22, explores four different climate zones, including the seasonal north, the tropics and the poles.

Now, the showmakers have released spectacular photos from the second series, which has been three years in the making.
