BBC's Keepin' 'Er Country looking for country music fans for new series

A Northern Irish production company are casting for the new series of the popular BBC documentary series Keepin' 'Er Country.

Keepin' 'Er Country, produced by Alleycats TV for BBC Northern Ireland, follows the surprising world of Irish country music and the characters behind it.

With episodes focusing on country favourites Nathan Carter, Lisa McHugh and Derek Ryan - the show meets the fans that are responsible for the thriving music scene across the country.

Alleycats TV has put out an open casting call for their upcoming series and are looking for fans of Co Tyrone legend Philomena Begley to feature on the show.

Known as 'The Queen of Irish country music', Keepin' 'Er Country are looking for her biggest fans to help celebrate her 80th birthday.

If you love the 'Blanket on the Ground' singer or know someone who is her number one fan then now is your chance to celebrate her massive contribution to the Northern Irish country music industry.
