But this week Stephanie Flanders made a political boob – and it played out for all to see in cyberspace, reports the Sun. Flanders fired off an angry tweet on Wednesday, saying: "Just tried to vote. My polling station had closed two hours early. Has anyone else had the same problem?" The red-faced economics hack was soon inundated with tweets pointing out that the polls did not open until Thursday. "All stations closed because, er, today isn't Thursday," she later noted.
