BBC's Euro 2020 pundit and commentary line ups confirmed including Henry and Fabregas

The European Championship is almost upon us, albeit a year later than anticipated after the Covid-19 pandemic scuppered the majority of international football in 2020.

England will meet the 'auld enemy' in Steve Clarke's Scotland as early as the group stages as the tartan army make their way to Wembley. The visitors will no doubt have their sights set firmly on a memorable upset over a Three Lions side who will harbour real aspirations of winning the tournament outright.

Boasting a depth of young talent that hasn't been present in previous tournaments, Gareth Southgate will be aiming to go even further than he did in the 2018 World Cup, where England reached the last four before being eliminated by Croatia.

Debate remains rife about who should feature in Southgate's 26-man squad for the month long tournament, with such a wide range of attacking talent - some big names are likely to fail to make the cut.

However, one 'squad' has already been announced in the form of BBC's huge team of presenters and expert pundits alike, who will cover the entire tournament with the hope that England are there lifting their first major trophy in 55 years come the end of it.

The list boasts a number of familiar faces, including England legends Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer, who both represented the Three Lions at a European Championship over the course of their stellar careers as two of the nation's best strikers of their respective eras.
