The Howarth family appeared on the show tonight as part of three families cutting their loved ones hair in the name of charity.

Presenters Davina McCall and Mat Baker introduced the family and found that Jason would be the one to be cutting Lindsay's hair.

But before the presenters had a chance to cut away from the families Jason had already got the clippers on Lindsay's locks, which got a hilarious response from the presenters.

Davina said: "Oh my god.

"He's got the clippers out already."

After half an hour the results were revealed from each of the families.

Her dramatic transformation was revealed after 30 minutes (BBC)

When Lindsay revealed her locks from under the towel she had a completely shaved head.

Davina said: "Have you ever had your hair like that before? I think you look gorgeous!"

It was also revealed that Lindsay will be donating her hair to charity.

BBC's Big Night In was on from 7pm until 10pm on BBC One.
