It was another fine display from Chelsea on Saturday as they brushed aside Burnley 4-2 at Turf Moor.
A hat-trick from Christian Pulisic and a Willian strike helped Frank Lampard's men to victory in Lancashire, with the Blues extending their winning streak in all competitions to seven games.
And while Pulisic was hailed for his performance, BBC pundit Garth Crooks picked out another player who he said "cut Burnley to shreds".
"I normally don't care for statistics - they are for statisticians - but when I saw the pass rate for Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho against Burnley I suddenly paid attention," the former Tottenham forward said as part of his team of the week feature for the BBC website.
"The performance of [Mateo] Kovacic in particular has been a revelation since the departure of Maurizio Sarri and the arrival of [Frank] Lampard.
"The way he used the ball to cut Burnley to shreds was cruel at times. It's hardly surprising Chelsea fans are enjoying their football so much these days. They have developed a generation of players desperate to play for a manager who, along with his players, are going places."
Kovacic, who has now featured 14 times for Chelsea this season after making his loan move permanent in the summer, was included alongside Pulisic in Crooks' team of the week.
