BBC Platinum Party at the Palace: Where are Prince Harry and Meghan?

Prince Harry and Meghan have announced they will not attend the Queen's Platinum Jubilee concert.

The star-studded bash will be broadcast on BBC One and see performances from acts such as Diana Ross and Sir Paul McCartney. More than 30 members of the Royal Family are expected to attend the show to mark her Majesty's 70 years on the throne.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will miss out as they spend the night celebrating their daughter Lilibet's first birthday. A spokesperson for the couple, who stepped down as senior royals in 2020, said they were spending the day privately.
