BBC One’s This is MY House will return for a second series - and you can be a part of it

BBC One's This is MY House is returning for a second series next year.

The unusual guessing game show will once again see four people try to convince a panel of celebs that they are the homeowner of the property they are filming in.

But three of them will be actors, and it is down to the celebs to suss out which of the contestants is telling the truth.

In the first series, panellists included Emily Atack, Judi Love, Bill Bailey, Rob Rinder and more.

The BBC has said the entertainment show will return for 10 new episodes in 2022 and "in an evolved 30-minute format" instead of the previous 60-minute episodes.

It is not yet confirmed if presenter Stacey Dooley will return for the second viewing.

Last series saw an average of 2.8 million viewers and many took to social media playing along in their own homes trying to guess the true homeowner.

The addictive guessing game was created by Richard Bacon and Nick Weidenfeld, and produced by Expectation.

“I loved seeing the way the audience responded to the show," Richard Bacon, Creator and Executive Producer said. "Especially on social media as it was happening. It’s given me the confidence to lean right into the absurd humour this time. Also, I’m proud of the fact it did so well with young audiences."

Pinki Chambers, Commissioning Editor at the BBC added: “We all loved This is MY House – so it’s really exciting that it’ll be back on BBC One with a whole new team of imposters and homeowners battling it out to prove that they are as embedded in their surroundings as the crumbs down the back of the sofa. It’s the guessing game that promises a lot of head-scratching and humour.”

The second series of This Is MY House is set to be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in 2022.
