BBC News viewers thrilled as Robert Kelly returns with kids who gatecrashed his interview

BBC News fans were pleasantly surprised to see the return of some of the show's most popular guests on Thursday.

Robert Kelly was back on our screens with his two children who gatecrashed his interview in 2017.

The Professor of Political Science, who lives in South Korea with his wife Jung-a Kim and their kids, was giving an interview about how the country is dealing with the coronavirus crisis.

But this time his children Marion and James were invited to sit in during the chat, though they struggled to sit still.

Back in 2017 the family became worldwide celebrities after Marion and James interrupted an interview he gave to the same channel.

Throughout the interview the couple had to tell their children to sit still as they wriggled and tried to get away.

Robert said: "For us as you can see it's very difficult, employers who have employees with kids our age it's very difficult.

"I'm getting two hours work done a day maybe three.

Jung-a Kim agreed, adding: "It's very difficult to stay in the house for a very long time.

"We try to go out and see the flowers and the trees and they can shout and scream."
