BBC News presenter Simon McCoy is in a relationship with Dynasty actress Emma Samms.
The TV anchor, 58, has been dating the actress since his split from wife, BBC South West presenter Victoria Graham, last year.
Speaking to The Daily Mail , Simon says: "We are very happy together."
Meanwhile, one of Simon's BBC colleagues revealed to the paper that the pair are set to marry when the newsman's divorce from Victoria is finalised.
The couple is already living together at Emma's home in the Cotswolds.
Emma portrayed fiery sex symbol Fallon Carrington Colby in hit 1980s soap opera Dynasty and has been married three times herself.

Simon was married to Victoria for 12 years following their wedding in 2007.
When the pair split last year, Simon told the Daily Mail at the time: "It is very sad. All I would like to say is that I give Victoria my very best wishes for her future."
They had reportedly met at a polo match in Windsor and had no children, although Simon has a son, Max, from his first marriage.

Simon is well-known for his dry wit and had a pointed remark to say about Boris Johnson last year on BBC News during the Conservative Party leadership contest.
"Wonder what he writes on the side of it," he joked following Boris revealing his hobby of making model buses out of wine crates.
Elsewhere on the BBC, Sports Relief topped its 2018 takings for charity as it took home quite the huge sum.
Despite the country currently being gripped by the spread of coronavirus, the star-studded Sport Relief broadcast managed to raise a total of £40,540,355.
