BBC News editors join the blogosphere

BBC editors are opening up themselves, and their decisions, to comment from viewers and listeners. In introducing a new blogging service, the director of BBC News, Helen Boaden, says blogs will be written by editors from across the range of BBC news outlets - TV, radio and interactive - about their jobs. She writes: "From Newsround to Newsnight, via everything from Radio One Newsbeat to the BBC news website, we hope all areas of BBC News will be represented."
