BBC make hilarious Max Power and Will Grigg gaffe as they advertise Domino's recruitment roles

The BBC's use an image of showing Max Power and Will Grigg working in a Domino's store to advertise the Pizza delivery chain recruiting new roles, has send Black Cats fans into hysterics.

The fast food outlet is hiring 5,000 cooks and delivery drivers, as staff who joined during the pandemic head back to their former roles.

Domino's said that it had recruited thousands of workers across the country to keep up with the demand during lockdown.

However, when reporting on the story the BBC made a blunder with the main image on the article showing the former and current Sunderland players working in a store as they make pizza.

The image is from March 2020, as the pair helped out at the Dragonville Retail Park store, near Durham, as they made pizzas for local offices and volunteers.

The use of the image has amused Black Cats fans on social media.

Max Power was recently released from the club alongside six other players and is reportedly on the radar of League One rivals, Ipswich Town.

Will Grigg is set to return to the Stadium of Light this summer having spent the latter part of the season on loan at MK Dons. The Northern-Ireland international is believed to be open to a move away from Wearside having struggled since his arrival.
