BBC legend Carol Kirkwood records last ever weather forecast after 28 years

Carol Kirkwood BBC Breakfast

Carol Kirkwood delivered her final BBC weather forecast on Wednesday, 1 April, marking her departure after 28 years with the broadcaster.
She joined the BBC Weather Centre in 1998 and became the main weather presenter for BBC Breakfast in 2010.
Kirkwood announced her decision to leave in January, stating she had 'loved every minute' of her time at the organisation.
She described the decision to leave as not an 'easy one' to make.
Following her last forecast, BBC Breakfast hosts Sally Nugent and Jon Kay thanked Kirkwood for being 'perfect'.
