Viewers have hit out at the BBC for showing football matches on BBC1 and BBC2 at the same time on Monday evening.
Usual scheduling was shelved to allow the broadcaster to air Belgium v Finland on the main channel, while Denmark's clash with Russia went out in the time slot on BBC2.
The reason for both Euro 2020 games being played at the same was the fact it was each side's final match of the group stage, meaning they all had to kick off at the same time as qualification was at stake.

The games ended with the much welcomed outcome of Denmark advancing in second place after thrashing Russia 4-1 to go through to the final 16 on goal difference.
Belgium eased through at the top of the Group B standings with nine points out of nine but, while football fans lapped up all the action, those who couldn't give a hoot about Euro 2020 were angry that even BBC2 had been taken over by it.

One went onto to Twitter to rage: "I am sorry there are millions of us who pay our licence fee and don't like football. It is unacceptable both BBC1 and BBC2 were dominated by football tonight.
"Nowhere for the rest of us to go apart from #CoronationStreet on the other side!!!"
Equally annoyed, another viewer posted: "Why should i pay a BBC licence when football is on BBC1 and BBC2 and i HATE football," and another reacted: "I'm a football fan and I'm asking myself why BBC1 and BBC2 are both showing football matches, neither of which involve England, Scotland or Wales. Surely one and the other on the red button is preferable (or both on the red button)"
However, others attempting to shoot down critics but reminding them that it has been five years since the Euros were last on TV.
One responded: "Grow up, it's the first Euros in FIVE YEARS, there's other BBC channels and non BBC channels. What about when quiz shows or wildlife shows are on both channels?
