BBC EastEnders viewers shocked by character's lines in latest episode

Viewers were left shocked by the lines given to a character on BBC 's EastEnders tonight.

Tiffany Butcher, played by Maisie Smith, welcomed back Bobby Beale, played by Clay Milner Russell to Albert Square.

They chatted in the café, and Tiff tried to get him to come out of his shell about

She said to him: "No one cares about what you have done.

He interrupted: "I care."

Bobby Beale is back (BBC)

She said: "That's not what I meant. We all make mistakes. I did some bad stuff this year and I hurt a lot of people."

But fans of the soap took issue with her choice of words, pointing out that murdering your sister, Lucy, is perhaps a little bigger than just a mistake.

Taking to Twitter, one said: "We've all made mistakes" Killing your sister isn't really a mistake, it's more of a crime."

Another said: "Tiffany he killed his own sister!! You were groomed. Different."

A third added: "Tiffany, your (great-)uncle went down for a murder Bobby committed, show some family loyalty."

Bobby Beale returned on June 13 after time at a youth detention centre after he pleaded guilty to GBH of step-mum Jane and unlawfully killing Lucy Beale.
