BBC EastEnders viewers furious with ending after boat disaster

BBC EastEnders viewers were furious with tonight's ending as disaster struck.

As the 35th anniversary episodes continue, drama in Walford escalated to extraordinary levels.

On the square, Sharon went into labour with Keanu's baby and Kathy was the only person available to help her.

And following Callum's kidnapping, Ben went to desperate lengths to try and save his boyfriend.

But the real drama took place on the River Thames as the Queen Vic boat party ended in disaster.

Phil and Keanu launched into an epic fight across the boat's roof as locals partied below.

They ended up in the captain's cabin, where during the fight Keanu slipped and accidentally pulled the wheel to one side.

The boat was sent straight into the direction of the pier, flipping it on its head.

Viewers saw Linda knocked unconscious as a result, whilst other Albert Square residents were trapped.

However, the episode ended on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers raging.
