Former EastEnders actress Kacey Ainsworth showed off her new look on ITV morning chat show Lorraine.
The 50-year-old, who played Little Mo in the BBC soap, spoke to presenter Lorraine Kelly her appearance in ITV period crime drama Grantchester.
But viewers at home were distracted with how different she looked from her days as a Slater sister on Albert Square.
Now sporting some new blonde locks, she was a far cry from her days as frightened Mo.
Speaking on Lorraine, Kacey explained the look as being due to a role in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

She said: "I played Mrs Lovett in Liverpool Everyman. We weren't doing a traditional production, there were no frock coats in sight."
"We made her really hard-nosed, she’s normally played as a cockney fishwife, so this is where the blonde came from."
The actress doesn't look set to be losing her new locks anytime soon, the Mirror Online reports.
Kacey added: "The more I had it, the more people said to me 'don’t change it, it looks amazing!'"
Elsewhere in the chat, the mum also discussed being a parent to a child with autism and dyspraxia.
She told Lorraine: "We consider it a kind of superpower for him."

Naturally, Kacey's new look and her inspiring discussion of parenting a child with autism went down very well with fans on social media.
One said on Twitter to Kacey: "was up and watching such a lovely interview and you looked beautiful you're a ray of sunshine
Others added: "I loved her interview ! Motivating and inspiring! And omg she looks amazing!!!!"
"And how beautiful it looks xx."
"Absolutely fabulous....love it."
