BBC East Midlands Today bulletins disappear from screens due to 'temporary measures'

Temporary measures brought in by the BBC have meant that viewers in some parts of the region were left without East Midlands Today bulletins. Viewers have been left without them after the BBC said that news would be shared with the West Midlands.

The organisation has not yet confirmed the reason for the move, but the East Midlands Today team has described it as a "temporary measure." The announcement was made on Tuesday morning, September 6, Leicestershire Live reports.

In a statement, the East Midlands Today team said: "This morning, we will be sharing breakfast bulletins with the West Midlands. This is a temporary measure and our usual output will resume as soon as possible."
