BBC Dragons' Den: Camp Wildfire, location, prices and how to book adult summer camp

An adult adventure park in the Kent countryside is among the businesses hoping to win over the Dragons on BBC One’s Dragons’ Den tonight (January 20).

Camp Wildfire co-founders Julia Lowe and Lee Denny feature in tonight’s episode, trying to impress the Dragons and secure more financial backing so they can expand and take their unique adventure camp to the next level.

So, what exactly is Camp Wildfire, what does it have to offer, whereabouts is it - and how can you book?

What is Camp Wildfire?

Camp Wildfire is a summer park for adults in Kent. Its co-founders were inspired to set it up by their own childhood love of camping adventures and their more recent experiences at music festivals.

With Camp Wildfire, the pair attempted to blend the best of both to create entirely new experiences for people looking for a bit of a break from the norm - and all in the middle of a pretty forest retreat, nestled in the countryside.

As well as offering 100 activities to take part in - with everything from beekeeping to rocket building - Camp Wildfire guests can also enjoy live music and DJ sets.

Where is Camp Wildfire?

Camp Wildfire is located in the middle of a pine forest just outside the town of Sevenoaks, about an hour and 10 minutes by car from London and two-and-a-half hours from Bristol.

It’s also accessible by train - the nearest railway station to Camp Wildfire is Borough Green & Wrotham, which is about 42 minutes from London Victoria.

How to book at Camp Wildfire

The final tickets for Camp Wildfire’s summer 2022 programme will go on sale from 10am on February 4th. Anyone wishing to book must register on its website beforehand.

Its first weekend of the summer will take place from August 26th-29th, with the second from September 2nd-5th.

Tickets will be available here, priced between £245 and £495.
