BBC Breakfast viewers were left confused this morning as the presenters, guests and floor manager all wore matching clothes.
Even host Dan Walker tweeted pictures of Louise Minchin interviewing a guest as they were both dressed in bright yellow, he said: "Swimming in a sea of yellow today."
He later followed this up with: "It’s catching. Floor-manager Tracey is getting involved too."
But it didn't stop there, weather reader Carol Kirkwood also wore a sunshine yellow raincoat.
Fans of the show found the co-ordinating outfits hilarious, many poking fun at Dan for "not getting the memo".
One said: "Anyone got a yellow tie for Dan?"
Another said: "I'm trying to adjust my set to cope with the colour explosion."
A third said: "What’s going on?!"
A fourth added: "Is yellow the new black."
BBC Breakfast's official Twitter account also chimed in on the unusual coincidence, pointing out that First Lady of the United States Melania Trump also chose to wear yellow at the launch of Donald Trump's official start to his re-election campaign at a rally in Florida.
One Twitter user said: "Must be a yellow day today yellow is looking very popular this morning."
