BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty raging as favourite 'TV bra' goes missing

Naga Munchetty is going "nuts" as an elusive undergarment evades her grasp.

The BBC Breakfast anchor, 45, told yesterday that she's been on the hunt for her favourite bra to wear on the telly after it went missing half a year ago.

She told listeners of her Radio 5 Live show: "I've got this bra that is seamless and I have two of them because they are brilliant for telly because no lumps or bumps show through.

"I can't find the other one and I know it is somewhere. Ive lost it, I haven't had it for about six months and it's driving me nuts."

But Naga's standing firm and refusing to splash out on another, insisting: "I'm not going to waste money buying another one.

"That's not the answer."

Naga's one of the Beeb's four main Breakfast hosts, alongside Dan Walker, Louise Minchin and Charlie Stayt, and late last year succeeded Emma Barnett in the mid-morning Radio 5 slot after the latter moved to Woman's Hour.

And despite viewer confusion, Naga still co-anchors BBC Breakfast Thursdays to Saturdays.

She recently opened up about her stab at Dry January - meaning she ditches booze for the month - and how the third lockdown had hit her resolve.

Naga explained to her Radio 5 colleague: "I spoke to my husband last night, and I said, 'No, I think I may just stop drinking.

"I can't keep relying on something...food, wine, whatever, to make me feel better'."

She added: "There is that almost kick-back."

Meanwhile, Naga's received positive reviews from listeners since taking over the Monday to Wednesday show.

She stepped up to fill Emma's tough-to-fill boots, with listeners praising her warmth, charm and intelligence.
