The BBC anchor regularly shared photos of her beloved cat on social media.

Naga, who is married to James Haggar, earlier this year shared a shot of a chill out evening with Missy and their two other cats, who are named Xena, and Bella, showing how much she enjoys spending time with them.

The shot saw her relaxing on a cream leather sofa, with one cat comfortably settled on her lap, one laying on the top of the sofa by her head and a third curled up next to her.

And animal lover Naga previously told Mail Online: "I was born and bred in south London, so living in Hertfordshire is a big change and I love it.

"I can look out of the window and see nothing but fields, and I feel very safe here. I wanted a dog, but it wouldn't wouldn't fit our lifestyle, so we got the cats and they're our pride and joy."

Naga and James previously shared Siamese cats Kinky and Ronnie.
