Dan Walker has shared a rare glimpse into his personal life on social media – much to the delight of his curious fans.
The BBC Breakfast star, 43, posted a sweet photo of his son Joe as the pair appeared to spend some time on a father-son day out.
Taking to Twitter, Dan said he had ‘food envy’ after seeing Joe bite into a delicious Yorkshire pudding butty.
Joe looked delighted with himself as he scoffed the deep-fried food while wrapped up in a bright blue coat to keep the chilly weather at bay.
Alongside the rare snap of his boy, Dan penned: “I thought I’d chosen well with a chip butty but then I got immediate food-envy when our son pulled out his giant Yorkshire pudding, chips, and gravy combo.
“I won’t make the same mistake again” he added.

And it didn’t take long for Dan’s fans and famous friends to comment on the unexpected post.
BBC star Matt Taylor tweeted: “Sooooo much food envy going on right now! Well played Walker Junior.”
Another fan penned: “Awh he’s adorable! He made a good choice too!”
While a third quipped: “He’s such a cool dude. You’ll know the next time to follow in your son’s footsteps lol.”

Dan’s most recent offering has come as a surprise to fans as he is known for keeping his personal life to himself on social media.
The BBC star and wife Sarah share three children together - daughters Susanna and Jessica as well as Joe.
There has previously been some confusion around his son's name after he revealed a friend often changes Joe's name to Chuck on Wikipedia.
Dan has since admitted the name change came after an interview where he mentioned he would love to name his son after Chuck Norris.
At the time, the TV star took to Instagram to set the record straight.

"About 5 years ago I joked in an interview that I loved @chucknorris and I'd name a son after him.
"My daft mate now keeps changing my wiki page to claim I have a son called 'Chuck'.
"He has claimed another victim. They are called Susie, Jessica & Luke - middle name Sky. He's called Joe."
