BBC Breakfast host Steph McGovern is reportedly 'expecting her first child' with her girlfriend.
The news comes 18 months after Steph denied on Twitter that she would be having children, saying that she was 'with pot belly'.
The 37-year-old presenter is reportedly "absolutely thrilled" with the news that she will be starting a family with her girlfriend.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, a source told them that "everyone at the Beeb is delighted," with the source saying Steph is "one of the most popular faces on and off the red sofa."
It would seem that Steph and her TV exec partner will be trying to keep details of the pregnancy as private as possible.
The source revealed that they "won’t be doing any magazine shoots any time soon."
It has been reported that Steph is having a rough time of it at the moment and has "suffered really badly with morning sickness in the early days."
This was before anybody knew and Steph was trying to keep the news private.
The source revealed that there was a close call recently, saying Steph "was sick recently, just seconds before going on air."
In January last year, Steph was forced to deny rumours that she was pregnant, after an appearance on TV.
Fans took to Twitter to congratulate her and even her Auntie sent a congratulations message.
The awkward truth was that it was a camera angle that had accentuated her midriff, giving the impression she was with child.
Steph admitted: "That's life on TV."
