BBC Breakfast fans confused as Dan Walker goes missing from show for hilarious reason

Dan Walker left BBC Breakfast viewers confused this morning as he disappeared for one of the news bulletins.

After the regional news at 8:30am the show went back t o the main studio, but Louise was on her own.

Louise told viewers: "Good morning you're watching BBC Breakfast, with Dan Walker, who'll be here in a minute and me Louise Minchin. Let's update you, he's all right."

Louise smirked and continued to read the headlines, before coming back to the studio - where Dan had reappeared.

Laughing Dan said: "I'm back, I got stuck in the loo, right let's move on."

The pair continued to talk about the TV licence fee - which dominated GMB this morning.

Piers Morgan was incensed on ITV , even cutting off a Love Island segment to talk about the issue more.

Piers spoke to Carole, the daughter of veteran Thomas Cuthbert, who appeared on GMB yesterday.

Piers ranted to Carole about what an outrage it was that Thomas would have to pay for a licence.

And then Piers said: "I will pay for his TV licence for as long as he needs it, I think it's an outrage."
