After making huge changes to their schedules on Friday, following the death of Prince Philip, both BBC and ITV have confirmed how their programming will shape up for Saturday.
Just after noon yesterday a statement from Buckingham Palace confirmed that the Duke of Edinburgh had passed away at the age of 99, with it reading: "It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
"His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.”
The announcement saw This Morning brought to an abrupt end on ITV, while an episode of Bargain Hunt was cut short on BBC1.
Both channels hastily switched straight to news broadcasts and all scheduled programmes were subsequently pulled, with the rest of the day dedicated to reaction to Prince Phillip's death, with Phillip Schofield hosting two hour long live special Prince Phillip: Fondly Remembered on ITV before a documentary about The Duke aired.
The changes saw shows like Coronation Street, EastEnders and the Masterchef final pulled, while it was confirmed that Saturday's Grand National would go ahead as planned.
And live coverage of the world famous Aintree will still air on ITV, after Friday's racing was moved to ITV4.
It will start slightly later than planned at 2pm, after both ITV and BBC1 dedicated their Saturday morning programming to Prince Phliip, ahead of a gun salute in his honour.
At the time of writing, this is how things were looking for each channel for the remainder of Saturday...
