Bayern Munich XI vs Arsenal: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for Champions League today

Frontman: Harry Kane - (John Walton/PA Wire)

Bayern Munich have Serge Gnabry back for tonight’s clash with Arsenal in the Champions League.

The German giants hold a fearsome record against Premier League title favourites Arsenal, winning four and drawing one of their last five appearances - including three 5-1 victories.

But this Arsenal side is made of far sterner stuff, and Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany will know his team will have to be at their best to avoid heading back to Bavaria empty-handed.

Former Tottenham talisman Harry Kane will no doubt be desperate to again hand Arsenal a tough Champions League lesson, while Nicolas Jackson, on loan from Chelsea, will be equally keen to impress against a familiar foe.

Luis Diaz's suspension - he was sent off against Paris Saint-Germain - complicates matters, but former Gunners star Gnabry is fit to feature after missing the win over Freiburg at the weekend.

That also opens the door for young star Lennart Karl - who opened the scoring on Saturday - to start. The 17-year-old became Bayern's youngest-ever Champions League scorer when he started against Club Brugge earlier this season, but this is a significant step up.

Joshua Kimmich did not feature at the weekend, but appears to have shaken off a knock picked up during the international break, so starts. Hiroki Ito came off the bench for his first appearance of the season, after recovering from a knock, so makes the bench.

Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies continue to be sidelined.

Bayern Munich XI: Neuer, Laimer, Tah, Upamecano, Stanisic, Kimmich, Pavlovic, Olise, Karl, Gnabry, Kane

Subs: Ulreich, Urbig, Kim, Goretzka, Jackson, Bischof, Ito, Guerreiro, Boey, Mike

Injured: Musiala, Davies

Time and date: 8pm GMT on Wednesday November 26, 2025

Venue: Emirates Stadium, London
