Bayern Munich submit 'final' Harry Kane Spurs transfer bid

Bayern Munich have reportedly submitted their final offer for Harry Kane.

Sky Sports reports that the Bundesliga champions want a quick decision from Tottenham.

The German giants are said to be ready to move on to other recruitment targets if Ange Postecoglou's side drags their heels over an answer.

Bayern's last bid for the Spurs and England captain is believed to have been around the £80million mark.

Sky previously stated that there was a £20m gap in Bayern and Tottenham's valuation.

So, it would appear that Bayern's freshest bid is north of £80m.

James Maddison today made it clear that he's hopeful that his club and international teammate will stay put in North London.

He said: "It hasn’t been a distraction, Harry is super professional.

“I won’t go into details because I don’t know anything and let’s be respectful about Harry’s situation.

“Everyone knows what Harry Kane is like, he’s a super professional guy and whatever club he is at, whenever he goes into training he gives 100 per cent and it’s the same as all the lads so not (a distraction) at all really.

“We were friends before I joined Tottenham from the England squad, we have similar interests and get on well anyway away from football.

“I would love Harry Kane to stay, he’s the best number nine in the world in my opinion, but what will be, will be and Harry is super professional.”

It comes as Tottenham enters advanced talks to sign Micky van de Ven.

Spurs are in discussions with Wolfsburg over the potential transfer of the defender.

It's said that an initial fee of £34.5million is close to being agreed between the clubs. A deal could even rise as high as £43m in add-ons.

Once the agreement is finalised, the Dutchman, 22, is expected to travel to the UK to undergo a medical.
