Bayern Munich rub it in after 'scoring touchdown' against Spurs with Serge Gnabry grabbing four

Spurs suffered an embarrassing defeat against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night, and the German team really knew how to rub it in.

Mauricio Pochettino's side took the lead through Son Heung-min, but were almost immediately pegged back by a stunner from Joshua Kimmich.

Robert Lewandowski grabbed the German side's second right before half-time with a great turn and shot from the edge of the area.

And in the second half, Spurs collapsed. Two goals in three minutes from former Arsenal star Serge Gnabry gave the visitors a 4-1 lead before Harry Kane grabbed one back from the penalty spot.

But Bayern finished the game off with three goals in the final 10 minutes as Gnabry grabbed another two and Lewandowski helped himself to another, leaving the final score at 7-2.

And the German side quickly took to Twitter to rub it in.

Spurs will be hosting their first ever NFL game this weekend as the Chicago Bears take on the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, followed by the Carolina Panthers and the Tamba Bay Buccaneers three weeks after that.

But Bayern pointed out that with their seven 'points' this evening, they were the first team to score a touchdown at the new Spurs stadium.
