Bayern Munich have appeared to rule themselves out of the race to sign Erling Haaland.
Haaland scored a remarkable 41 goals in 41 games for Borussia Dortmund last term and he's continued in that prolific form this season, scoring 19 goals in 16 games and he seemingly enhances his reputation as an elite centre-forward with almost every game.
Manchester United and Manchester City are admirers of Haaland but they're unsurprisingly not the only sides interested.
The 21-year-old has Europe's biggest clubs on red alert and it's expected that Haaland will leave Dortmund in the summer.
Bayern Munich have dominated the Bundesliga across the last decade and their success has been built off signing the league's best players.
The German giants seem to have a monopoly on the talent in the country and that sometimes includes Dortmund's players, however, Bayern Munich's CEO, Oliver Khan, has now dropped a major hint on whether or not his club will look to sign Haaland.
Khan was asked about Haaland and he responded by complimenting Robert Lewandowski.
“We have Robert Lewandowski," Khan told Suddeutsche Zeitung.
"He’s going to score 30 or 40 goals for a few more years."
With Bayern Munich potentially out of the race, it seems United, City and Real Madrid are the only feasible destinations for Haaland.
