Bayern Munich manager Niko Kovac has revealed the secret behind Jurgen Klopp success at Liverpool - picking the right players for his style.
Klopp has transformed the Reds into title challengers and one of Europe's most feared outfits in just four years in charge at Anfield.
The German took Liverpool to within a point on the club's first Premier League crown last season before lifting the Champions League trophy, a year after losing the final.
Klopp has signed the likes of Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mane and Fabinho, and according to Kovac, each addition is carefully picked to match the way he wants to play.
Kovac asked about Liverpool and why Bayern, who have only won five out of their nine fixtures in Bundesliga this season, can't match the type of performance the Reds put in in the Premier League.
"We must accommodate what we have," Kovac, who is under pressure, said.
"You need to have the player types. You can't try to go 200 kmh on the Autobahn when you can only go 100. You simply must accommodate what we have.
"We have different player types. We must find the right mix and I find that our gegenpressing is also good, and, of course, it can always get better.
"What are we talking about, eh? About continuity. About time.
"Which apparently you no longer have in football."
Meanwhile, Jordan Henderson reckons any nerves Liverpool have about playing at home have vanished after their come-from-behind victory over Tottenham .
“It’s so difficult for teams to come and play - I here thought the fans were really good again, always keeping us going right until the very end,” he explained.
“That’s why this is a fantastic place to play. Together, we reacted really well, especially after conceding early. That was really pleasing. The performance was really good. Hopefully we can continue in that way.”
