Bayern Munich beat Tottenham for the second time this season as Philippe Coutinho shone for the hosts.
Tottenham fell behind in the first half as Kinsley Coman slotted home at the back post.
They did draw level through Ryan Sessegnon, who was making his first start since his summer move from Fulham .
Sessenon collected a pass and lashed his finish past Manuel Neuer, but that was as good as it got for Spurs.
Thomas Muller prodded Bayern ahead before half-time and the excellent Coutinho made sure of the win with a fine finish.

Eriksen 5 - Looks like being his last season at Spurs, threatening to go with a whimper.
Sessegnon 7 - His first start for Spurs, played wide left, goal underlines his potential.
Lucas 6 - Led the line in the absence of Kane, struggled to make an impact.
